Devlog: Sharing My Journey with "Nova Hunters"

Hey there, fellow adventurers! It's an exciting moment for me as I share the latest updates on "Nova Hunters," my passion project in the making. This might just be Version 2, but to me, it feels like a significant leap forward since its humble beginnings during the Spelkollektivet Halloween Game Jam.

A Peek into Nova Hunters:

So, what's "Nova Hunters" all about? Well, picture this: you're dropped into a world teeming with danger, tasked with fending off relentless waves of enemies. It's a roguelike survival game that's equal parts thrilling and challenging, drawing inspiration from classics like “Vampire Survivors”, “Brotato”, “Froguelike” or “Soulstone Survivor”.

What's New in Version 2?

I've been hard at work expanding the universe of "Nova Hunters," and I'm thrilled to share some of the latest developments:

  • Enemies: Say hello to not one, but two new types of enemies! Each one brings its own unique set of challenges, making survival all the more exhilarating.
  • Weapons: With a diverse arsenal of five different weapons, players now have more options than ever before to tailor their playstyle to their liking.
  • Upgrades: Dive deep into a world of possibilities with 19 different upgrades to choose from. It's all about personalization, empowering players to forge their own path through the chaos.

Looking Ahead

While I'm proud of how far "Nova Hunters" has come, I'm well aware that there's still a journey ahead of me. My goal is to keep refining the game until it's the best it can possibly be. That's where you come in.

Join the Adventure

I'm on the lookout for brave souls willing to lend a hand and help shape the future of "Nova Hunters." Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the world of roguelikes, your feedback is invaluable to me. Let's make this game something truly special together.
